dams
In our team Storey ENG has an Approved Professional Person (APP) who works on Category II and III earth embankment dams of up to 29 m in height, and higher dams when working with an associate. We design new dams, undertake safety inspections, and investigiate and design remedial measures for problems and failures. Assistance is also provided to dam owners to legalise dams constructed without authorisation.

As specialists in water engineering and in particular the master planning, design and implimentation of water and sanitation, stormwater and erosion management, hydrology, floodline studies, revetments, hydraulic modelling, canals, pumps, pumpstations and building wet services.

Unique experience and knowledge is brought by Storey ENG to the development of farms and agricultural facilities including access and inter-block / orchard roads, runoff and erosion control, vineyard and orchard designs for particularly steep slopes, nursery and greenhouse production facilities and farm structures.

Whether due to age or in some unfortunate cases poor construction practices, repairs and refurbishment are required to a building at some point during its life cycle. Storey ENG has specialist knowledge and experience in the rehabilitation of buildings and the repair of degraded and spalling concrete and corroding reinforcing steel.
